Here comes the “Island of Joy”!

deaf orphan preschoolers Island of Joy Vitebsk

The orphaned preschoolers at the boarding school for the deaf in Vitebsk, Belarus, will look forward to weekends and holidays now.

Instead of being stuck in school, while other children go home to their families, these little ones will go to an “Island of Joy” … just for them.
Thanks to you.
Friends gave generously to offer this “Thanksgiving gift from America.”
In fact, you gave so generously, we’re also donating $1,000 toward development of wheelchair access for deaf children who are also unable to walk.
If you’d like to visit director Svyeta and the children again through photos, you can view the photo report again here.
I’m so grateful for your compassion and kindness.
Thank you for journeying with us!
Much love,
Doug Brendel
